More than 600 people came out to the Caltech athletic fields to view a partial annular solar eclipse. The Caltech Astronomy Outreach team organized viewing through filtered telescopes, passed out over 300 pairs of solar viewing glasses, and entertained kids and adults alike with explanations of eclipses and other astronomical phenomena.
